DST September Blog Train Freebie and 40% Sale
It's that time of month again. Time for the train to leave the station. And the DST train is one of my favorites. I loved this month's theme devoted to creativity and inspiration. As a scrapbook designer I struggle with inspiration at times and it was fun for me to ponder what really inspires me as I started to work on my portion of the blog train.
Books. Books. Books. I adore books and always have since my very first picture books. I lived one block away from our local library - a huge old Victorian house with a curving staircase, marble fireplace, glass chandeliers and my favorite feature, huge old windows with cozy window seats in the children's section.

Thanks for the great freebie! I loved your library story! I would have loved living that close to ours! I played library as a little girl with my own books and lent them to neighbor girls. Since I am almost 60 years young I still very much like the feel of a book in my hands. (I can lay out on the swing with it too!)
I also would have loved that Victorian house! I swear I was born in the wrong era (almost-I love digi scrapping!). My front room is in a modified Victorian decor.

Thank you so much! My library used to get all the old books from the main branch and continue to circulate them - no where else could you get Gene Stratton Porter or Pansy books. Nothing is as good as a good book!
