Teacup Garden and a Gift for You

I always wanted to give a formal tea party with an elaborate centerpiece display made from vintage china pieces overflowing with flowers. Since I've never gotten my act together enough to do this, I decided to do it digitally. Much less mess. And that way I can share it with all of you.

So I've filled the teacups and china with blooms, hung gauzy draperies in the background, and managed to get the teacup puppy to sit still for his picture. Hope you'll come by for the party.

Storybook Spring Arrives

It doesn't look like it outside my window this morning with a few patches of snow left on the ground but spring is officially here this week and I am SOOOOO ready for it. Last weekend, I went to the Philadelphia Flower Show and Longwood Gardens and filled myself to the brim with the colors, scents and flowers of spring.

While I've been waiting for spring (none too patiently) I created this kit for you: Storybook Spring, combining two of my favorite things: books and spring. And since I was having so much fun with it I created some add-ons as well.

Sharing Time

I wanted to share these exquisite layouts done by 3 members of my CT team for the Time for Tea kit that I recently posted on my new Facebook Fan page. Since it was a free kit, I certainly didn't want to ask CT members to work with it. In case you're not familiar with the way most creative teams work, members of the team create layouts in return for the kit. So you can imagine my surprise and delight when these layouts appeared in our Creative Team forum.

We are so enjoying this beautiful spring, very early and very warm and the flowering trees, bushes and spring bulbs are magnificent. Below are a few images that Clemens took outside our front door. Right now he's outside photographing our camellia bush. Several years ago, I attended the Philadelphia Flower show and fell in love with it. Since they aren't hardy in our region, I bought it and decided I would just enjoy it for one season. I planted it in a sheltered location on the south side of the house and it has come through some of our worst winters ever in this region. This spring it is laden down with buds just beginning to open. I'll undoubtedly have pictures to share soon.

And I have two new products coming out this week. On Saturday, April Promise, an Annka kit that I created with Kakleidesigns will release and on Monday, Blue Poppy.
