DST January Blog Train

A new year and a brand new blog train from DST. Look for it every other month. The theme for January is Winter Wonders and I've created a paper pack with 12 papers for you: 6 Embossed Papers and 6 Textured Papers, all 12" x 12", created at 300 dpi. They should co-ordinate perfectly with the other selections you download along the train.

New Christmas Kit

The designers at Heritage Scrap created a December collaborative of mix and match kits, all created with the same palette. Our theme was Christmas carols and each designer chose a favorite holiday song as a theme. I chose Walking in a Winter Wonderland. I adore winter landscapes and paintings, but I'm not all that fond of winter after spending most of my earlier life living in New England with way too much snow.

It brought back a lot of wonderful memories of our hikes through Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado as I edited these photos. Great for making scenic backgrounds or blending into elements or papers. I've found that the paths are especially useful for fantasy layouts.
