Are you a fan of Art Nouveau?
Do you love the elegance and natural lines of Art Nouveau? I've always adored this style, popular in the late 1800's and early 1900's. When I visit museums, I head first for the rooms that display objects and arts from this time period. So Nouveau Nostalgia is a kit I've been wanting to do for a long time. I had so much fun doing it and hope you enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
The kit contains 14 papers including some extra fancy ones and 49 elements, all created at 300 dpi.
And so you can see the page kit in action, here are some layouts created by the StarSongStudio CT Team:
Taztang68
Zanthia
Bright Eyes
Scrapsbyoreosmeow
Jean Ann
And I was having so much fun, I created some co-ordinating extras: cluster frames, photomasks, stacked papers and word art.
All of the extras work well independently as well as with the page kit.

I especially loved hearing from all you book lovers. I love, love, love reading. I think I could single handedly keep my library in business. Actually I regularly use 4 local libraries. I live in a thickly settled area of southeastern Pennsylvania and am so lucky to have so many libraries near by. When my children were young, I lived on an island in the middle of Lake Champlain in Vermont: Grand Isle. A small town with a very tiny library open only a few hours a week. So living so close to all these great libraries is literally a dream come true.
I have a section on my Pinterest page (http://pinterest.com/amplantier/) with recent books that I've enjoyed. I'd love to have you stop by and check out what I've been reading recently and even better if you have books on your Pinterest page, I'd love it if you would send me a link. And if you're not on Pinterest, you can always share books you've read and loved in the comment section.
SynderEnterprise, I loved your comments on the Gene Stratton Porter books. These were my mother's very favorite books when she was young and she searched long and hard to get me a set. I owe my love of reading to my mother who did everything she could to pass on her love of reading. She succeeded beyond her wildest dreams and as a young girl I would read under the covers with a flashlight as at one point she decided my reading had gotten out of hand and she would limit it. Fortunately that didn't last very long and I was back reading out in the open again. And since your comment brought back such wonderful memories of my mother who died in 2002, you are the first winner in the Treasured Books contest below. Just send me an email to get the page kit.
Another Contest: Leave a Comment To Win
While I was reading all of your comments, I realized that all of you book lovers were entering a contest to win my Toys in the Attic kit with only a few vintage books in it. This summer I released a collaborative kit that I did with my daughter Dawn (Morning Sun Designs) that is filled with books. It's called Treasured Books (not too original I'm afraid but certainly descriptive.) So it you would like to win this page kit with 18 papers and 81 elements just leave a comment at the end of this blog post. Oops. I forgot to put in that the contest will end on Sunday, September 9th. Stop back in on September 10th to see if you are a winner.
And if you would like to see the kit and all the add-ons I created to go with it you can check it out here:

DST September Blog Train Freebie and 40% Sale
It's that time of month again. Time for the train to leave the station. And the DST train is one of my favorites. I loved this month's theme devoted to creativity and inspiration. As a scrapbook designer I struggle with inspiration at times and it was fun for me to ponder what really inspires me as I started to work on my portion of the blog train.
Books. Books. Books. I adore books and always have since my very first picture books. I lived one block away from our local library - a huge old Victorian house with a curving staircase, marble fireplace, glass chandeliers and my favorite feature, huge old windows with cozy window seats in the children's section.
Leave a comment to enter Contest
But before you leave, I'm having a contest below. Leave a comment (by pressing Comments at the end of this post) for a chance to win my latest kit.I'll be choosing several winners so your chances of winning are excellent. Check back here on Tuesday, September 4th to see if you are one of the winners.

Lavender Dreams Kit, Freebie and Birthday Sales
I've always loved aromatherapy and essential oils. The amazing scents, the sensuous feel of the oils on my skin, the unique healing properties of each oil. I actually have my own small distiller and when I'm feeling especially ambitious, I distill some of my own oils and hydrosols (scented waters) that are a by-product of the distilling process from flowers in my garden. I have to confess that I've never done lavender. The few small plants that I have don't produce enough blooms for even a drop of oil! But I love burying my face in the plants and just inhaling.
So Lavender Dreams is a kit near and dear to my heart, evoking the sweet smell of lavender on a hot summer afternoon. It contains 45 elements created at 300 dpi and 11 textured papers, 12" x 12" and like all of my personal use kits, its scrap for hire friendly.

I love the CT team's creations with this kit. I wonder if they were smelling that delicious lavender scent as they were working. I honestly felt like I could get just a hint of it at times when I was designing.

- I'm a scrapbook addict. I've been involved with digital scrapabooking since July 2009, when my daughter introduced me to her favorite hobby. When I'm not scrapbooking (hmm, when exactly is that?), I'm enjoying life with my family including my two daughters and two grandsons, my husband Clemens and my Cavalier Spaniel, Vinnie. My hobbies include photography, reading, biking, and hiking.
