Lavender Dreams Kit, Freebie and Birthday Sales
I've always loved aromatherapy and essential oils. The amazing scents, the sensuous feel of the oils on my skin, the unique healing properties of each oil. I actually have my own small distiller and when I'm feeling especially ambitious, I distill some of my own oils and hydrosols (scented waters) that are a by-product of the distilling process from flowers in my garden. I have to confess that I've never done lavender. The few small plants that I have don't produce enough blooms for even a drop of oil! But I love burying my face in the plants and just inhaling.

I love the CT team's creations with this kit. I wonder if they were smelling that delicious lavender scent as they were working. I honestly felt like I could get just a hint of it at times when I was designing.

I've always loved reading and books have been a huge part of my life. I have such wonderful memories of my mother reading to me as a child and even have some of those old books tucked away in my bookcase. We lived close to the town library, a huge old Victorian house with crystal chandeliers, antique mirrors and best of all, as far as I was concerned, huge windows with cushioned window seats where I could curl up and read a book.So Treasured Books is a kit I've been wanting to do for quite some time. And I was delighted that my daughter Dawn (Morning Sun Designs), who shares my love of reading, wanted to do it with me.
The page kit contains:

And it was so much fun to see all the photographs of family members reading and enjoying books that the CT team produced.

I never seem to have enough bookmarks. I usually have 3 or 4 books going at once and often multiple pages marked that I want to check again. I love to collect bookmarks but my favorites are the ones I've made myself.
