My First Personal Use Kit
I'm delighted to announce that my first personal use/srap for hire friendly page kit is launched. Yes!
This kit was inspired by my daughter Dawn who introduced me to scrapbooking and has been my first and foremost teacher in digital art. The palette is based on the gorgeous colors of dawn: soft pinks, roses, blues and yellows and the kit is filled with gorgeous garden and floral elements. There are 15 papers, 12" x 12" in jpeg format and 43 unshadowed elements, 300 dpi in png format. And there is even a special bonus clustered window frame which is shadowed. A wonderful way to get your page off to a fast and gorgeous start

Exciting News
I posted this past weekend that I was disappointed that I hadn't won the designer contest at the Studio but I definitely felt that I was a winner in the overall experience. Right after the contest I was contacted my a fellow contestant who liked my design work and wanted permission to give my name to the store where she is selling. And the very next day a second contestant emailed me that she had talked to the owner of the store where she has sold for a long time and that the owner was interested in my joining the designers there.
Wow. So unexpected and so thrilling. So as I write this I'm proud to say that I'm selling my designs at CoolScrapsDigital.com. Here's the link: Do check it out. It's a great store with a number of incredibly talented designers. I already have CU product for sale in the store and will be adding personal use products shortly. And I'll be hosting challenges there as well.

Well, I'm disappointed that I didn't win the Studio designer contest. It was a close race and all the contestants outdid themselves with great entries. I really enjoyed getting to know my fellow contestants and I definitely wasn't a loser in this contest. I had a lot of fun, learned a tremendous amount, got a lot of experience designing under pressure and gained a lot of confidence as a new designer. Placing in the top 10 out of 93 entries feels great. And I do feel ready to start designing kits professionally. Hopefully I'll find the right store soon.

Last Round of the Studio Designer Contest
I made it to the finals! This is the very last round. 10 people left standing and on Thursday 3 winners will be chosen. For a very limited time my kit and those of the other final contestants will be available for free downloads. So hurry over now and download these incredible kits. I am totally awed and amazed to be here with such talented designers. I have to enjoyed being in this contest. The other contestants have been so much fun and the store designers and staff have been incredibly helpful and supportive. I'm totally exhausted at the moment. Studio Designer Contest
Well, I'm about to reveal what I've been doing this month. I've been a contestant in The Studio Designer contest. And I'm thrilled to say I made it through the first 3 elimination rounds. I haven't been able to blog about it before as all entries were anonymous and labeled by number only. But now in the fourth round we're able to reveal our identities.

The Studio Designer Contest
September has been a busy and exciting month since I entered the Birthday Bash Designer Contest at the Studio. Check it out here:
Round three is well underway and voting on it will start after 4 p.m. today. I'm delighted to say that I did well in Rounds 1 and 2 and am still in the running. To make the contest as fair as possible, all entries are by number rather than by name. So even though I can't ask you to stop in and vote for me, I do hope you will stop in and vote for your favorites. You have to register in the forum before you can vote but it's a fast and painless process. As one of the contestants, I can't begin to tell you how much the support and the number of people voting means. And the best part for you is that you have a huge number of free mini kits, elements, papers and clusters from Round 1 and 2 that you can download for free. The artistry here is really amazing and when you combine the offerings from various contestants you'll have a super super mega kit!
